Word Paintings – obsolete language series
The potential of Hypertext as a written language is considered in these paintings. Words are condensed into letters/symbols. Here we loose the sequential , left to right, occidental reading order. These new condensed letter/symbols may be compared to cacophony, when all sounds are made at one time. Instead the words are formed with each letter on top of the other; as a result, more information within less space. Once on becomes familiar with hypertext, as it is presented here, reading and communicating becomes accelerated.
Hypertext = Hypercommunication.
